Well, I’m not dead. I’ve been extremely busy since I last wrote a review, which was the Justice League review to finish my DCEU franchise reviews. I’ve been really busy because I will be starting a new job on the 18th, and I had to study for language tests, and job interviews, and everything basically changed within a three week period. I’ve finally managed to get a permanent full time job, which I’m extremely excited about, as it will be dealing with what I studied in college (legal clerk).
What happened, was because I’m currently on a contract for work, I figured that I would keep applying to job postings, and on November 8, I had an interview for the position, then on the 16th, I was given a conditional offer as long as I passed the written French language test which was to be scheduled on the 20th. I got the results back on the November 22, informing me that I passed the test, and that I got the position.
What I forgot to mention, was that the position is at the other end of town, which would take 2 hours to get there by bus, or 50 minutes in morning traffic, for which I don’t own a vehicle. As you can imagine, I’ve had a lot of thinking to do and unfortunately, movies have been on the backburner for the last month, with the list of movies that I want to see growing and growing every week. Hopefully, once things quiet down in the New Year, I will be able to post reviews on a more regular basis, at about one or two reviews per week.
Coming up for movie reviews in for the next week, is something that I have had planned for a while, and that is the reviews for one of the most beloved franchises, and my second favourite franchise behind only the Lord of the Rings / Hobbit movies – Star Wars.
Starting Thursday December 7, and every day afterwards, I will be posting reviews of the Star Wars movies that will follow the schedule posted on the Franchise page here. These reviews will all be spoiler filled reviews, with the exception of the one posted on December 15. You can also visit that page to see the reviews for Star Wars movies that you might have missed, or you can find the schedule below.
Thursday December 7 – Star Wars – Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Friday December 8 – Star Wars – Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Saturday December 9 – Star Wars – Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Sunday December 10 – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Monday December 11 – Star Wars – Episode IV: A New Hope
Tuesday December 12 – Star Wars – Episode V: Empire Strikes Back
Wednesday December 13 – Star Wars – Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Thursday December 14 – Star Wars – Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Friday December 15 – Star Wars – Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
And I’ve decided that for the first time ever, I will post two reviews for the same movie, one being a non – spoiler review, while the other will include spoilers that will be released on Monday December 18.
Thanks for reading,
